Sri Lanka storm home to defeat South Africa in five Test series.

Despite losing the first two Tests, Sri Lanka have defeated South Africa 3 - 2 in the recent International played in Sri Lanka. Full details of the Series can be found on the Ceylon Indoor Cricket website, www.srilankaindoorcricket.com

  • November 2001--defeated a touring Indian side 5-0

  • January 2002--beat the touring Australians in one Test match, the first ever Test loss for the Australian Men.

  • April 2002--defeated the touring England team 3-0
  • October 2002--finished 3rd in the World Cup in New Zealand. Some believed South Africa's absence from this World Cup allowed Sri Lanka to finish higher than they should have--this latest result against South Africa seems to put that theory to bed.

  • September 2003--defeated the touring South Africans 3-2.
